The Housing Authority of the City of Bridgeport is the largest owner and operator of low-income public housing in the City. Currently, it owns and manages more than 3000 units. Most of these units are located in traditional multi-family mid and high rise structures but more than 250 public housing units are now in low rise scattered site developments located throughout the city. It has successfully managed its properties with innovative leasing and security measures while maintaining a staff of seasoned property managers and administrators.
